There are plans to include 24 hour security within the premises of Tamara, and the Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Putrajaya is located right behind Tamara’s location, less than 500 metres away. Putrajaya also has one of the lowest crime rates in Malaysia, giving the residents some peace of mind. Located right beside the police headquarters of Putrajaya is Hospital Putrajaya, where extensive medical facilities are available, as Hospital Putrajaya is ranked at the 15th in Malaysia. The nearest shopping complex is Alamanda where Carrefour and Parkson can be found in the mall frequented by students.

The nearest township at the moment with access to amenities is located in Cyberjaya, some 3 kilometres away; however, a commercial development named Ayer@8 has recently been launched as of Q4 of 2013, and would certainly be a welcome addition of choices for the residents. Tamara is easily accessible via the Maju Expressway(MEX), North-South Expressway (PLUS), and Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway (SILK). Precint 8 is strategically located as just across a bridge is where Precint 2 and 3 lies, which is the beating heart of the federal government.

Analysis

Tamara has the advantage of being nestled within an intelligent, green city, and located just right beside the administrative centre of the country. It is the ideal location for residents to enjoy magnificent views, maintained by the federal government no less, as they have a stake in it as well; along with top-notch infrastructure and amenities that include health, educational and recreational facilities.

Furthermore, surrounding the development of Tamara is several other ongoing developments including Promenade 8 dan Promenade 2 8, and also the recently launched Ayer@8 as of Q4 2013. The mentioned commercial developments surround the lake and would provide magnificent views. In the future there would possibly be many amenities all within comfortable walking distance from Tamara. With a low buy-in price and a lot of headroom for appreciation, it is a good place to park capital for investment purposes. There is certainly a lot of potential for the location, but whether it comes to realisation is another matter entirely.
